Warehouse shelves

Reading cycle-count exceptions in Korea

Korean year-end calendars compress warehouse access. Associates often inherit exception lists generated overnight while SKUs continue to move. Treating every variance as a valuation problem wastes the morning; ignoring systemic patterns wastes the audit.

Sort before you escalate

Separate cut-off timing differences from quantity disagreements and from location mis-tags. Only the second group usually feeds a valuation conversation. Your financial auditing app may list them together—your notes should not.

Watch bonded and third-party sites

Facilities near ports and bonded zones introduce documentation lag that looks like shrinkage. Confirm whether goods were in transit under client control before drafting a write-down hypothesis.

Close the loop same day

Exceptions that sit unresolved until the valuation memo draft become folklore. Netanalyser observation templates force a same-day owner and a next action, even if the action is “await WMS patch.”
